I Heart Fall

Fall is my very favorite season....of all time. Yes, I wish time stopped in October. It would be the best thing ever.
So, since I heart fall ten million times more than any other season, I love to show it. I had half this stuff up on my door the last day of August. The only thing stopping me from fully decorating with pumpkins was my husband. He told my not to buy any until October....paaashhaa. Yeah right! Right when I found some, I bought some. Ha! I found these behemoths for $3. Once the store gets more, I'll get more. If I had my way, my porch would look like a huge pumpkin patch....but for now, this is what it looks like:
I got the twig wreaths for $2 at Roberts. I don't know what it is, maybe its over-decoritis, but I have to have three wreaths on my door or no wreaths....maybe I'll get over it, or maybe not :)
Here's my sweet pooch, he sat there on his own accord wondering what the heck I was doing, so I figured I should take a picture of his goofiness while I was at it. I think he loves fall too....a puppy from my own heart.
On another note....I couldn't seem to find my normal door wreath hanger, so I had to use the Christmas one with hollies all over it....not quite what I was going for with the whole "fall" decor theme.
So, I got some hot glue and some paper gift ribbon and glued it on the top, middle, and bottom of the hanger.
Looks fall-esque to me....best thing is, since its metal, the glue will just peel off when I need to use it for Christmas!

Fall is in the air....or table :)

So, I haven't changed my table centerpiece in months and I just changed it TWICE in ONE week. Figures huh? I guess I was just so darn excited for fall...yippeee! My favorite season :) (not that I'm wishing summer away or anything). But this is no thanks to all you girls who keep showing cute fall decorations over.and.over.and.over. I think I'm going to have a heart attack with all this excitement!

Back to my table (now that I've calmed my heart rate), I used my Martinelli Centerpiece and just added a few fall-esque flares and now I can't wait to sit down for Thanksgiving dinner. Is that weird? Its September and I'm talking about something two months away....oh well. :)
I found these great gourds and pumpkins for 65 cents. 65 CENTS! So, I pretty much had to stock up and just hope (crossing my figures, knocking on wood, etc. etc.) they last until the end of November. Is there a chance??

I found the fall foliage on sale at Joanns for like $6 and this cute little flower below was only $1.

I'm so glad the time has come already to decorate for fall! I'm starting on my porch and can't wait to get it done, but my husband won't let me put any holes in my wood door or the stucco. Any suggestions on how to hang the fall (christmas, spring) foliage w/o doing so?
